Research Update: Mitochondria and Cancer
Hey friend
Hey friend!
Today I have a video for you to explain a little bit about what I've been researching lately: how cancer is related to the energy producing organelles in our cells, mitochondria.
Nobel Prize winner Otto Warburg discovered in the early 1900's that cancer is more directly related to the dysfunction of our mitochondria than to the damage to our DNA (which comes later as a result of damaged mitochondria). It's rather interesting stuff!
Below I'll paste the resources I used to learn about this topic. Feel free to check them out yourself, and let me know what you learn!
Enjoy, and have a great day!
