PEMF Therapy

But first, a bit more information...

PEMF is pulsed electromagnetic field and it sends bursts of electrical energy toward the area of your body where it is applied. It can be used in a variety of conditions including arthritis, early Parkinson's disease, injuries including bone breaks, inflammation and pain due to surgery, chronic wounds, cancer and more! I got to try out a fancy PEMF machine at a friend's house after I learned that she had healed of an immune deficiency, a torn rotator cuff tendon (which isn't supposed to heal on its own without surgery) and osteoporosis after using the machine!!

PEMF therapy boosts the electrical charge of your cells (cancer cells usually have reduced charges according to the research I found), reduces inflammation, has been shown to induce apoptosis of certain breast cancer cells, was selectively toxic to cancer cells, halted cancer cell growth, inhibited the proliferation of certain lymphoma cells, decreased cancer cell vitality, inhibited cell division, blocked neovascularization (the development of new blood vessels), decreased the activity of matrix metalloproteinase (MMP), an enzyme that promotes cancer metastasis in chondrosarcoma cells and disrupted mitotic spindle formation (prevented multiplication of cancer cells). Sounds awesome, doesn't it?! 😊

If you're able, you can buy your own PEMF machine or go to a practitioner to get treatments. PEMF machines can cost anywhere from $349 to over $30,000 😅 and single treatments can go for around $25 - $100 depending on the duration and practitioner.

Because I am a visual learner, besides the PowerPoint slides used in the webinar I also created a drawing board for research using an app called Milanote. This app is one of my favorite discoveries in the last week or two! 😊 If you're a visual learner like me and you'd like to get the app for yourself (which you can use on both your computer and phone), you can sign up for free like I did.

If you watch the replay of the webinar, in the last minute or so you'll see me experiencing a Pulse machine, which is used on astronauts to prevent them from getting osteoporosis in space and professional athletes to heal quickly from injuries. 😃
