Hi, Friend! 😊
Last night I had a class on exercise for cancer prevention and overall health. I'm sorry if you wanted to be there and missed it! Please try to make it on time as I will be starting right away. 😊 The replay is now available on YouTube and all replays will be available on YouTube by the end of the following day (Wednesday). I'll also email you to let you know when it's ready. 💜
Next week's class will be about mental health and how it affects our bodies and cancer. It's one of the most important factors in healing! It impacts all the others because it influences not just our thoughts and behaviors but also our body chemistry and how well we respond to cancer treatment/management.
I'm debating whether I should dress one half frazzled with crazy hair and makeup and the other half normal to keep the humorous theme going like I did with the last two classes. What do you think? Fun fact: laughter really IS medicine!! 😉 There was a study done in 2015 on women with breast cancer that actually proved that laughter decreases anxiety, depression and stress!! If I have to risk looking silly to get a laugh out of someone who needs it then to me it's worth it. 😉
Laughter and Stress Relief in Cancer Patients: A Pilot Study
"As the therapeutic laughter program was effective after only a single session in reducing anxiety, depression, and stress in breast cancer patients, it could be recommended as a first-line complementary/alternative therapy."
SO. Next Tuesday at 7pm EST (unless you tell me there's a better time!) the link to join me on Zoom is: https://zoom.us/j/660778471

Matthew 14:19-21 Ordering the people to sit down on the grass, He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up toward heaven, He blessed the food, and breaking the loaves He gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds, 20 and they all ate and were satisfied. They picked up what was left over of the broken pieces, twelve full baskets. 21 There were about five thousand men who ate, besides women and children
