Cancer Diet 

  • A generalized overview of my diet in Mexico. I'm now on a maintenance diet which is less restrictive and includes fewer juices.

Dietotherapy - as in diet therapy - is an essential player in my remission from cancer; it ensures that the body gets all the nutrients it needs to help heal itself, without taxing the body with harmful pesticides, herbicides, growth hormones, antibiotics, artificial flavors, artificial colorings, GMOs, etc. in conventional (non-organic) & processed foods!

 

Dr. Max Gerson believed that the underlying causes of disease were toxicity and vitamin deficiency. In his Gerson Therapy, Gerson emphasized the importance of diet & detox through coffee enemas.

The juices on Gar's website are the juices I drank in Mexico.  

 

Think of fresh juice as a vitamin/nutrient supplement, rather than a meal replacement. Regular meals are recommended in addition to the consumption of fresh juice made with organic produce. (What does "organic" mean?)

Sunscreen and Other Beauty Products

Badger's guide to sunscreen includes great info on why zinc oxide and titanium dioxide are the only active ingredients you should be looking for when seeking safe sun protection.  Just don't forget to take Vitamin D when using sunscreen - I take 5000IU daily, but you should consult your physician or naturopathic doctor before taking any supplements!
